EVIAN ECO PROPOSAL

2020

Clients/Judges: Evian, Virgil Abloh, Alaska Alaska

Responsibilities: Concept Development, Brand Research, Sustainable Material Research

Collaborators: Biodesigner Jessica Gregory

Context

Evian’s Activate Movement Competition called for initiatives that create a more sustainable future. Considering 80% of plastic water bottles end up in landfills, and it takes 1,000 years for every bottle to decompose - there is a serious need to rethink how we drink water and the waste we create.

Challenge

To create a 360 branding experience that goes far beyond a reusable bottle and incentivises consumers to refill their bottles for the good of people and the planet.

Opportunity

To develop an Evian brand experience that incorporates purpose, sustainability and tech. ‘RIPPLE.EFFECT.360’ is a multi-dimensional concept that aims to encourage bottle refills by:

  1. Making water fountains more accessible

  2. Bringing back the beauty of public water fountains

  3. Encouraging consumers to collect “eco-points” for water aid packages + limited edition products.
